I'm Still Here Book Study and Discussion

As Christians concerned about social holiness, how do we live in right relationship with one another around issues of race? Please join Rev. Gregory Kendrick and Rev. Lois Annich in Room 100 on Thursday evenings, February 27th-April 2nd from 6:45-8:15 p.m. for conversations based on Austin Channing Brown’s book, I’m Still Here: Black Dignity in a World Made for Whiteness. Deepening our awareness of the impact of racism on our common life and learning new ways of interacting with one another is part of our commitment “to act justly, love mercy and walk humbly with our God.”

The first meeting will be an introduction to the themes in the book and copies will be available for $17.00. Download the Kindle version here. Please RSVP through the church office (office@cotsumc.org or 216-321-8880).
